Nuzul Quran is a Public Holiday for KL

Nuzul Quran is public holiday for Kuala Lumpur on 15/July/2014, yey! Well at least for my wife. All the while she has to work while for me, working in Petaling Jaya always get the day off. So now we can have an outing together.

This was announced by the government cabinet in November 2013. Strangely I didn't know about it until recently. Must have missed the news.

Nuzul Quran is declared public holiday for KL, Putrajaya and Labuan

Of course apart from KL, the other Federal Territories (or Wilayah Persekutuan in Malay) - Putrajaya and Labuan, also get to have the day off.

So all together these states and Federal Territories will have Nuzul Quran public holidays:

Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur,
Labuan, Pahang, Perak,
Perlis, Penang, Putrajaya,
Selangor & Terengganu

As for the other states, well, maybe next time.
